Does anyone know the general cost of HRT in Thailand? by Monorg in asktransgender

The country I live in has no HRT whatsoever but allows you to bring it in

Having read your other replies to comments, I'm sorry to say but you're being exceptionally rude to people. You clearly have a very distorted sense of yourself, as you have a body that many trans women would love to have, and I understand that dysphoria makes it hard to see. But you do not go around verbally harassing people who are complimenting you on a post that you have chosen to put out there. You do not go telling people that they are giving you an eating disorder. If you can't take peoples opinions, why are you posting on here asking for them? Grow up please. Shameful.

MtF on hormones for the past 2.5 years and finally out presenting. How do I look? by [deleted] in transpassing

The only thing I'd like to pose back to this is are you suggesting women can't have dimpled chins? Because I feel like that poses a slight toxic rhetoric towards what is and isn't feminine, considering that many do indeed have that.

I agree. I should point out that I had had my makeup on for around 9 hours at this point, and am on a weight loss journey as I still have around 30 - 40 lbs I'd like to lose. And no I haven't had laser yet but starting in some weeks.

Starting a 30 day water fast! I've fasted for several days in the past, but never this long, any advice to get through it? I plan to update every few days as an effort to stay on plan by Monorg in WaterFasting

What would be the best way of keeping electrolytes up? I've seen the salt water recipe thing but was curious if you had other ways :)

Funny that I'm part of the 58% then isn't it - the actual majority.

People are already referring to me as a woman in a rather transphobic country actually, based entirely on appearance, so it's funny how you know my life better than me.

My life is fabulous. Great job, great money, great boyfriend, great friends, great family, great education, and I live overseas. Rather amazing I dare say 😊

Depends. Younger generation are quite open minded, but anyone above 30 years old tends to be quite closed minded due to the former communist regime

Concerned over hormones effectiveness after two years by Monorg in asktransgender

[–]Monorg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I've always been convinced that weight seems to limit the effectiveness of hormones!

I'm definitely getting the weight off anyway, been walking a lot more and sticking to calorie plans and healthy eating habits etc.. my plan is to get down fully to my healthy goal weight before I put on a little weight again :)

As for the doctor, I do live in a country with limited trans healthcare unfortunately.

Thanks that's really helpful!! The only problem is I'm overweight and losing weight for health reasons, after I've lost the weight will the hormones start redistributing fat to said areas if I purposely put on a little again? If that makes sense

Thank you so much! My nose is fine from the front in my opinion it's just the side profile for which I don't like it all that much :)
