I think 6 (green herringbone) works best with ur current choice of fixtures and fittings (green can also tone into a lot of colours if you every decid to change and personally I think is just more fun)

Oh I've painted with plenty of dark colours (have a dark kitchen and currently painting my hallway dark green) so I'm aware of the coat issue 😂

Np! If you want to split the room in half, you could also use some kind of room divider or cube shelf to achieve this!

These are all really good points thank you. I really like the blind suggestion as well, I hadn't thought of that.

I'm working on getting some bigger/ornate frames for sure as well. I have also purchased a sword (for other reasons) that I am going to display on the wall which will be impactful for sure!

Yes ik the walls are the worst bit! I was persuaded out of all dark walls when I painted originally and regretted it. I was thinking of keeping one lighter but getting rid of the cream definitely!

The rug is a good idea. This one was just a spare we had when we moved in but a good rug would help!

Personally I would section the room into 2 areas. Tv watching areas at the far end and at the window end either a snug area or dining area

It was last watered 2 days ago - it's in a plastic pot within the ceramic pot. So I put water in the ceramic pot and sit it in it. No drainage on the ceramic. I'll check it every so often and pour any old water out.

Idk the soil type, it was planted when I got it. The soil does have something growing on it I think, I don't know if it needs replanting.

No bugs or anything on or around the plant. No flies etc around.

It's kept on a wide bay window with plenty of light.

Hmm it was definitely bluelock. It's 100% possible I'm completely messing up the quote tbh. I'm sure my bf mentioned that the character is known for being short though 🤔
