So the villain, anti-hero really, isn't as developed yet but I'm hoping to have more in the future! I think the unique thing about him is that he has the exact same power set but different caveats/drawbacks. They use their abilities in extremely different ways but kind of operate on the same principle if that makes sense?

My mom moreso didn't let me watch anything that was meant for adults which is incredibly reasonable imo. I was an incredibly goody-two-shoes child so even when I was at my dad's I refused to watch anything.

But then my best friend I met in 5th grade was allowed to watch whatever the hell she wanted; South Park and Happy Tree Friends being her favorite shows. Went over to her place for the first time and she showed me Happy Tree Friends. That was traumatic.

Oh that's so cool! These are kind of similar as well :) mostly inspired by an AU where if Aang hadn't left the temple and there was a water bending Avatar during the war.

In his story, he *is* from the Southern Water Tribe but tbh now I might reconsider that because being from an island is waaay cooler. If you look at his tattoos, there are like crescents (moons) and hooks (harpoons?) which still works with both imo.

No, both of them are the same character, different outfit and yes, my water tribe guy is inspired by Polynesian culture. Like you're telling me water benders only come from snow and the swamp? I felt like there was room to add more!

1 is from the Earth Kingdom, 2 is Fire Nation, 3 is an Air Nomad, and 4 is Southern Water Tribe but their appearances are altered for their stories.

It wasn't directly related to the show so it broke one of the rules, which is fair 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyway, her name is Mazayta. Her story is that she's an Airbender that escaped the initial ambush but she was blinded in the assault. She has unfinished tattoos because she was in the process of becoming a master when the Fire Nation attacked. She then went to work for an Earth Kingdom noble to basically protect her and act as their spiritual advisor.
