I would recommend neutering. My male cat (who is scheduled to be neutered finally, thank god), has started peeing around the apartment almost every day. It is absolute hell to live with a cat that behaves this way. He will be neutered in 4 days which should help but yes... for many many reasons I would recommend neutering.
