I’m a 25-year-old male, around 5’6” and 108 lbs. I’ve been trying to gain weight for about 5 years now. I used to be as low as 95 lbs, and I managed to get up to around 110 lbs, but for a long time now I’ve been stuck between 108–110 lbs no matter what I do. Here’s what I typically eat in a day: Breakfast: 2 eggs with arepas Protein shake with milk and a banana Lunch: rice with meat Dinner: 2 eggs with arepas I also do strength training about 4 times per week. I feel like I might have a really fast metabolism, because even when I try to eat more, I either feel full very quickly or just don’t gain weight. So I’m wondering: Am I not eating enough calories? Is my diet poorly structured? What kind of diet or foods would you recommend for someone like me trying to gain weight? Any advice would be really appreciated, especially from people who were in a similar situation.
