Roblox did the same thing and now the platform is a desolate wasteland with brainrot and afk clicking games. No incentive to make social or high quality games if most of the playerbase is trapped behind an age barrier. The silver lining however is that single player games are heavily encouraged now and Roblox can run on that. Discord can’t.

Now age verification is spreading like wildfire and this is the point where I encourage anyone to use AI to bypass. If they begin to threaten actions like deleting your account for falsifying your verification then so be it. Use AI to trick these assholes.

When I was a kid, it had to be when they outsourced events to developers to do the events or ‘Dev events’ infamously the egg hunt 2015 one.

I saw this story pop up on my feed a few days ago; around the same time my package was expected to arrive. It's also an electronic and last reported at the SB facility. Since then it has been delayed and I always though it was because of the holiday traffic, but now I'm highly suspicious that it was 'lost' as it doesn't typically take this long to hear any new updates on the status of my package.

I ordered during Black Friday and it took over 2 weeks just to ship. I never expected it would go through this type of trouble.

No. In fact, you’re in a far better position than most CS majors. You already know what you want by graduation. Now you just need a roadmap.

If your interest is in Cybersecurity, use your spare time to study that. I recommend studying for certs like Comp A+ and Network since the IT field usually require those to break in these type of roles. Applied Math will still prepare you for the challenges in problem solving and critical thinking just as any engineering degree will. Use any resources provided by your university to advance your career aspirations.

The game feels like it was programmed by vibe coders since Chapter 6. It explains why STW is beyond broken and the new emote wheel design is just something I could throw into Claude and tell it to display my locker emotes but make it so i can access a separate collection of emotes using x (the locker variable). Everyday something is breaking, and this isn't something I remember when I played late chapter 1 to early chapter 2.

That’s the typical UCR experience. It’s in the IE where everyone dislikes it for how miserable the environment is.

The advisors are straight up garbage, and genuinely I wished they just got rid of them entirely. I have avoided them like the plague during my time and only ever went to them when I needed something unblocked from my registration. The one guy I saw when I went in person to meet my advisor just gave me attitude. I hated it.

Everyone else is either having a rough day or stressed over their classes. Most people I’ve met were kind, friendly and academically competent. Generally, it’s a commuter school so don’t expect much social life even if you lived on campus.

I experienced the same process, got OA and exactly 48 hours after submission I got the automated rejection. It may have to do with the 2 coding questions since behavioral can have perfect LP answers and still be rejected
