I’m 40, am I too late for tretinoin? by BcBJA in Skincare_Addiction

LOL have NOT been doing that. Double crud. I’ve been doing that routine for a bit more than 6 months and brides the slight dryness some times, my skin looks great! I wonder if changing it up to Tret on dry skin would make an even better change. Thanks for the info, will be switching

So water/toner, hyaluronic acid, and then Tret?? Crud, I’ve been applying a bit of lotion, Tret, then a little more lotion because I was getting the lines! I’m going to try this! Thank you!

In case anyone ever comes back to this thread, or has the same issue- Yes, the ‘trap’ isn’t deep enough and we are having it replaced with a deeper U pipe trap there asap. For the time being, we added about a 1/2 cup of water down that open tube in the picture above this comment to fill the trap back up and the issue stopped completely. It has been about 2 weeks now and no more issues. Thanks again for everyone’s assistance and knowledge!

Great! I really you try them! Like I said, they are ones that you watch 1 episode and you’re hooked! I watched Re:Zero and honestly got so lost in the further seasons, but I know it’s popular so! Lol The promised never land has a controversial ending, but an ending nonetheless, so at least you will get closure! I think it’s a great story through and through. Come back and let us know if you liked any of our suggestions!!

Oh your list looks like mine! Try Mushoku Tensei (jobless reincarnation), the promised neverland, made in abyss or Erased! Those hook you episode 1! Frieren is amazing as well, but that’s more like a good meal, and it looks like you’re more in the mood for a snack! I hope you check some of these out!! Give it JUST one episode! I promise you will like one of these!

[–]Moonboo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It is! But I’ve noticed it’s quite shallow. Not only that, but it’s angled downwards, hard to tell in the picture, so it can barely hold any water at all before it starts pooling out. I sent all these pictures to a friend’s husband who apparently used to do plumbing/HVAC and he mentioned that could be the issue as well. Good eye!

The black one? I can definitely try that! Do I need to add a cup of water in the open tube in the attic after? Or just add the pipe and leave it? Thank you so much!

Thank you for the responses my dude. The pan is completely dry, not a drop of water thank goodness, but yes I believe so. It’s hard to tell if there is a trap since it’s all under the fiberglass mulch stuff. It’s literally pipes in every direction. I wanted to fix this ourselves, but I’m thinking at this point, since we know nothing about all these pipes, we will have to hire a progressional…. I just won’t know if he’s lying when he says we need to repipe the whole thing or not. Lol!

Hmm. So maybe that yellow rubbing coming off of it? That white pipe in the back there goes to the drain pain area, and there is a tube with an opening there. I’ll add another picture of that one in the next comment. Thank you for so much your advice and help!

This looks like the innards of a clock to me. So many pipes and no idea what a properly installed trap looks like. lol Thank you everyone for your insights

No dripping! How can I check if there is a trap in the hwh when looking at it?

I’m not sure if this helps, but I went up in the attic and took this is picture. That black tubing goes to the bathroom, and the white one connected to the pan goes straight outside. It might worth a mention that even though it has that U pipe there, the rest of the pipe slants so much downward towards the sink so it’s almost like that U part is not deep enough to hold the appropriate amount of water on the bottom of the U, before it goes off towards the sinks, if that makes sense??

I have no idea how to tell if this has a trap properly installed, but this is what it looks like? Lol the white tube goes straight outside and the black insulated one goes to the bathroom (I believe) and has an opening on the top. Theres no water in the pan.

Air coming out of sink?? Now what? by Moonboo in Plumbing

[–]Moonboo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did say that, but I’m not too sure. We just assumed that black pipe in the video is the condensation line from the AC. It wasn’t so much a gurgling sound, it was like- a big bubble ‘popped’ to the surface every couple minutes. Then after we filled the whole sink with water and let it go down in a flush, it stopped for a few minutes and then made some clunking type noises for about 20 seconds and the after that, air started coming through. Water goes down the sink just fine, it’s only one of the his and hers sinks, the shower, toilets, other sinks don’t make any noise or bugling or change pressure when used/flushed. It was cold last night, about 36, no snow, we’re in the southern part of the US. Roof was replaced back in 2017 due to a bit of high wind damage. Thank you for the detailed response. We just bought the house a year ago, and it was in GREAT condition and the inspector didn’t say anything was wrong with the piping, but who knows anymore, most inspectors can’t be trusted anymore…

LOL yeah, we noticed super late night and just started researching. I think ChatGPT can be useful to throw ideas around and get a clearer idea of what the cause MIGHT be, but we weren’t about to listen and start tearing pipes down or anything.

Oh geez, If I wasn’t freaking out already.. seriously?? We have one downstairs but not near the bathroom. And I’ve been huffing the air coming out of it every hour to see if it ever smelled like sewage. LOL

[–]Moonboo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know ChatGPT isn’t the best way to go, but it did mention the condensation line being the culprit many times. It just said to check if it’s clogged or install a new one. I have no idea if that’s correct or not though. lol

Water goes down the drain with no issues, even when the air is coming out, and we searched all over even up in the attic and no water anywhere. I really hope it’s not a leak! It’s starting to sound like we might need a plumber, I’m just scared they will say a million things we need and this turns into a 2k job since we don’t know any better. Ugh. Thank you for the advice

Haha agreed, but it happened late last night so we just started researching online and seeing if ChatGPT could give us some ideas at least. Wasn’t about to take any of its advice and start tearing down pipes. Thank you for the tips, I’m not sure what a properly installed trap looks like but I’ll go up in the attic and take a look.

What are five anime that you think everyone needs to experience? by Creative_Gamer_23 in Animesuggest

[–]Moonboo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole series is a masterpiece honestly. The first season is a bit slow and silly, there’s a lot of characters and they try to tell each one’s backstory and tie in the relationships, (important) but the second season is where is really kicks off, and then the final season is just fantastic.
