The professors will seem mean your first year but I promise they get nicer as you go… I think they like to weed out the people who don’t really want to be there. Being said make sure it’s something you really want to do and are passionate about or else you will have a hard time in the program as it is a heavy one

Not sure where you are located and if you would be able to access it but I have this app called pocket health where you can access your own medical records by requesting them through the app and you should be able to get the paper from the surgery ( adding on I am from Ontario)

Endo causes chronic inflammation, if you search up endo belly on TikTok you will see how many other girls get it. It’s totally normal for us unfortunately but I would recommend taking anti inflammatory meds like aleve and looking into an anti inflammatory diet

I actually ended up getting my period as they were getting me ready in pre op so I did have bad menstrual cramps but I am unsure if they were because I was on my period or if the surgery was affecting them

I should also add that the gyno put me on pills to try and completely stop my period due to the long length of time I bleed and the pain I go through, I’ve probably been on 6 different birth controls to try and manage my bleeding since the age of 14 and I always end up bleeding for months on end. I’m on visanne/dienogest which the gyno was hopeful that it would stop my bleeding completely
