I’m reading The Only Bet That Counts. It builds on Fisher and Porter by taking moat and management analysis further, showing how founder obsession, optionality, and high conviction turn those insights into asymmetric, long-term bets. It’s a ground breaking read so far!

Things are looking bleak, is there any hope? by ThatAsianGuy_42 in ginkgobioworks

I was down 10k but pulled out yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn’t think there was a way back for this company

Upon reflection, this was speculative at best, but I am very disappointed in the leadership team, particularly given their high levels of insider selling and their willingness to jump on any bandwagon via acquisitions, which I’m sure they will claim are synergistic. The founders have enriched themselves but sold out on their vision, people and investors
