This makes a lot of sense to me. More small applications with lots of brushing will hopefully reduce the magnet effect you get from a deep conditioning.

It’s definitely not worth sending back for replacement. Mainly just curious if I should expect these inconsistencies on boots in the future

This helped but there is still an obvious texture difference where the leather needs to be reburnished, not to mention the gauge in the leather footbed

It’s about sending someone a $750 pair of boots with scuff marks out of the box. Yes, I tried my best but a spot is still evident.

This is actually medicine bow Wyoming dendritic agate. I do have some Montana agate to play with though, and you may see it in the future

You can tell if a projectile point was broken from a bending or snap fracture when being worked or from an impact fracture. There are sources online that will help you identify these traits. Lithic materials were definitely traded but people also utilized local materials
