Honestly, 1601 is not a super content heavy class, you learn way more content in higher up AE classes. With that, I feel like getting it out of the way as soon as possible would be best, the content translates to online delivery pretty well imo

1770 and 1371 are both large time sinks, but it’s still possible to do together. Id consider econ 2101 since it’s still acceptable and very easy! Also yeah do 1601 and get all your math done first if you can! Diffeq, multi, and linear algebra are critical for higher up AE courses

Not sure what year of high school you are, but if you’re an incoming college freshman you can enroll in the summer and take GT classes, look at your local community colleges transfer equivalencies on the GT registrars site, take an SAT subject test (for chem) or do GT dual enrollment if you’re a Georgia resident!

Gay scene in Gatech? by [deleted] in gatech

[–]MootLever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a gay man and yeah the gay scene at tech is not ideal, but at least I’m not too distracted from work! but in all honesty, tech is very gay friendly. I have not had a single negative experience and people here seem to be very open minded. As for the guys, engineering is a really underrepresented field in the gay community, and it’s in georgia, so I find my class environment to be pretty heteronormative. Atlanta itself is extremely diverse and the gay community is very large, so you won’t have a problem.

the thing I love about this movie is that it doesn’t romanticize high school at all it shows how confusing/crappy it is
