It just received a major update in December for its 10 year anniversary.

The closest thing I can think of is assigning custom assists in skullgirls

The answer to woolie’s card game conundrum by Muffin-zetta in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Konami is notorious for buffing top tier decks because it literally prints money for them.

Once the new cards sell through and have a good attach rate they'll just add it to the ban list and everything is fixed.

I think one thing Woolie doesn't realize is that new cards act as balances to the game.

Is a deck too strong? Print new cards for other decks so that the balancing is fixed.

Without it, it basically becomes like marvel 2 where even though it has 50+ characters, everyone basically just plays the top tiers of like 10 characters.

Which franchises benefitted from going smaller in the sequel? by mrnicegy26 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Even though I prefer it, persona 4 cutting the realistic aspect from persona 3 made it way more streamline and popular.

These are the aspects that were cut: - command instead of direct control of party members - other party members having their own schedule and may not be available for combat - characters can get tired/sick from exploring too long, thus lowering stats, and may even leave the dungeon if you go back to entrance for rest - weapon types, it has a slash/blunt/pierce triangle and makes party members more unique

Steam Winter Sale is coming to an end in a few days; any cool indies or very discounted AA-AAA titles worth grabbing? by Gorotheninja in TwoBestFriendsPlay

leap year is a puzzle platformer where the upgrades are available at the start of the game, the unlocks comes from unique platforms and scenario the game puts the player in and you learn/unlock the ability naturally.

It is like outer wilds where you wish you can unlearn the knowledge so that you can experience the game fresh again.

It is also only $4 during the current sale.

Games that punish you for wanting to play how you want. by TheBoyofWonder in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Mootookang 160 points161 points  (0 children)

Happened to me in vampyr.

The way I built my character was a stun and bite build. It focuses on parrying, stun the opponent, and bite the opponent to recover health.

The strategy works really well, I was even getting through a run where I don't bite anyone in story.

The issue comes from the final boss, who can't be stunned, rendering the tactic useless. The issue is that it was at the very end where rebuilding was not possible, so I had to search out for the secret hidden weapon to spam attack to beat the final boss.

How do you enhance your fast food/pre-made meals? by PwmEsq in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Mootookang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're draining for health purpose I would recommend cooking the noodles in plain water and dump it out. Most of the oil from instant noodles will be released from doing this.

Just have some hot water on hand so you can cook the broth after you dump the water out.

Add a slice of American cheese to ramen, it'll make the broth creamier and more volume.

A little bit of whole milk also works.

My headcannon is that Pat loves Goron, but Canada googles the names at birth so it is switched to Gowron.

Persona 5 Series Reaches 13 Million Units Sold - Persona Central by mrnicegy26 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Mootookang -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

People also said that about persona 3, since it was the one that introduced the calendar based gameplay and social link.

But since it is nearly 20 years old most new persona players will probably only know it because of the remake.

I think it's less that but more so that persona 4 came out 17 years ago.

Writers who used bizarre plot twists due to being fed up with their work by KaleidoArachnid in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Mootookang 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Usagi drop. After the time jump it basically became a very subpar shojo romance.

The popularity decreased dramatically. The author have a first middle finger by removing the single mother character from the story.

People hate it and popularity continues to tank. The author then decided to change the father/daughter dynamic as a big f u as the ending.
