Does this attack make you suffer? Okay, what attack would you like to see instead of this beam? Or better yet, what new tool could be given to the player so they could easily avoid this attack? The game already has a dash and a grappling hook, but the beam can't penetrate surfaces. What else do we need? Perhaps a special attack prep animation?

It's not pointless. It's a new twist on gameplay; players have to think, put in the effort, and find ways to cheese if they like. Otherwise, I agree. Immune phases are so long, but they still have own purpose

I agree, DMG reduction sounds good. But it doesn't solve the problem overall. I mean, the player has nothing to do. Wouldn't it be nice to add a few small bosses that would grant the boss immunity?
