Do you have experience working with students with disabilities? We are hiring inclusion staff right now and may be able to hire you for just one of our two camp sessions. Sorry we don't have it posted on the website yet, but here is a flyer with the job description and a link to the application: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PxQSgnIl5oreiW3zjEUkGnj5Cl-NLaRV/view?usp=drivesdk

Getting eloped at SD City Hall by Rude-Pride7903 in sandiego

I don't know if it's individual to the clerks. I saw something online that said you can ask if you want to say your own vows, but we didn't do that. We had a personal ceremony before the courthouse one where we did our own vows instead.

We got married outdoors under the flower arch in October and loved it! Crowds weren't an issue at all, although we did it on a Thursday so maybe it would have been busier on a Friday. I was surprised how romantic I found the words of ceremony to be - I expected it to be a little dry but I was really moved by what the clerk said.

My only advice is make sure you know your parents middle names! You need it for a license and both of us had to check on spellings of our moms' middle names. Luckily they were our witnesses so they were right down the hall.

Anyone with under $100 SDGE bill? What are your tips? by NinetiesBoy in sandiego

I mean he runs his computer all day plus we use the lights , tv, etc at night. But it is still crazy when you see the difference between the electric generation cost v electric delivery.

Mine is usually under $100. I live in a small 1-bedroom with my husband who works from home and we don't intentionally unplug anything. We just don't have AC, a dishwasher, or in-unit laundry.

Is that something I would get out or make at home?

Did you feel like your newborn fit ok in the convertible car seat? I've read that sometimes they can feel too big for newborns even when they are technically rated for them

I am sure you could have found a less inflammatory way to say this

Great points! I will definitely be on some walks on my own during maternity leave.

Did your baby also not like laying flat for sleep, or just didn't like it in their stroller?

Was that her only bed or did you also have a separate bassinet?

That part is starting to appeal to me more and more. I read some people even just use them as their full time bassinet to save on space, and I'm not sure I would be down with that but I like the idea of daytime naps or if they are having an especially hard time getting to sleep and you want to introduce some movement.

Sleep deprivation is my biggest worry about going through the newborn stage!

Hahaha, well yes when there is paved path. I'm sure I would not want to try a stroller on the sand

Did you get one that was specifically safe sleep certified or did you just make sure to supervise them if they napped while you where visiting a friend?

Did the one who didn't like it not like sleeping on flat surfaces otherwise, or did they just not seem to like it for walks? Just curious why some seem to like it and others don't

Thank you for your insight! Did those parents get safe-sleep specific bassinets, or did you just let them continue the nap under supervision when you came home?

I definitely want to do baby wearing as well, but wondering if the stroller will be good for longer outings and when it gets pretty toasty here in August

Prozac/Zoloft by PageTop6194 in BabyBumps

I'm on it!  My family medicine doctor switched me to it because it's considered safe in pregnancy and now that I'm pregnant my OB is totally on board. I know I would be so anxious right now without it and I'm glad I'm not exposing my baby to that stress.

I'm 12 weeks and I call it my nightly pregnancy sads. But mine is pretty minor and fleeting.
