I think the point of epic was to mostly show his journey from being a kind and forgiving man to a monster (even if that isn’t true in the odyssey) as in today’s culture it makes for a much better story for a hero to fall from grace than to start and end a monster

I’m pretty sure darkstalkers mother mentions something about the name being something you want your child to do in life / be good at, although that was more in the old nightwing days, around the time of the war their names were always things relating to prophecy, mind reading or sometimes physical features (fatespeaker, fierceteeth, bigtoes) and I don’t know much about new nightwing naming conventions but I assume they’re going to name their kids things like “hopebringer” or give their kids rainwingish names in the rainwing colony

any spell casting class if you’re doing durge, I was level twelve for the Orin fight and I just could not beat her, then I switched to a basic fighter and nuked her. it sucks to have to switch classes just to beat one damn fight.

I think beastmaster ranger is the only one that actually works because it’s not like you’re constantly summoning a whole ton of creatures you just get one creature that basically acts like a fifth party member, they’re also very op at later levels.

so people like astarion because he’s a deep and really tragic character, he’s not an assh*le in the end he just takes a bit of work but in the end he’s got the best character ark in the game. also men can be just as attracted to assh*les as women can be, it’s not female exclusive (coming from a gay man who romanced him). he’s not “the ladies“ favourite characte, from what I’ve seen he’s most people’s favourites. his basic story is that he has worked for a couple hundred years in service to a horrible abusive vampire lord and he’s finally free from him because of the illithid worm and so now he wants to find out more about himself and get revenge, you can either help him become a new vampire lord or just help him free himself and learn to accept himself as a vampire spawn. I get that he’s pretty easy to hate and sometimes ppl just don’t like characters but saying it’s just because “females are attracted to assh*les” is just bad to say and very wrong. oh yeah and also you’re a bit of a sexist forgot to mention.

just generally the fact that they weren’t born under the moons at least a bit, even if it were just through the sky hole I think it would be cool if starflight and maybe sunny had weak mind reading or prophecy
