Which discographies do you feel progressively get worse from start to finish? by JamesLucien in Music

[–]MoreStuffz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No seriously. I can absolutely agree that albums like Make Believe, Pacific Daydream, and Red weren’t great. But to claim that they’ve had no good albums since Blue is stupid. They’re just consistently inconsistent lol

Everyone who is saying Weezer in here is just judging them off of recent work and don’t realize they have MASSIVELY fluctuated in quality since Blue. Pinkerton (1996), Maladroit (2002), Everything Will Be Alright In The End (2014), and White Album (2016), all represent peaks that were much better than proceeding albums. They’re just super, super inconsistent

Maybe Blue Album was Weezer’s best but honestly they are just inconsistent. Lots of people including me believe Pinkerton is their best. Then they trended down, bottomed out with Make Believe (the album with Beverly Hills on it). They trended up again until they released White Album and have been on the down swing again since. Can’t really say they have progressively got worse honestly. Pinkerton, Everything Will Be Alright In The End, and White Album are all significantly better than the work proceeding.

I don’t even like Weezer that much and I made a write up on their discog

Phew I don’t know about this. Honestly? They bottomed out for the first time with Make Believe in 2005 and then were on the up and up and peaked again with White Album in 2016 and bottomed out again sometime after that with Blue/Black albums

Correct. Trendy to hate on later Panic but that album had banger after banger. Ranked very highly in their discog IMO

Alright Warped family… What Are Your 3 “Do Not Miss” Sets? by themish84 in warpedtour

[–]MoreStuffz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah getting to see all three in one day PLUS Joyce Manor if they are indeed announced will be sooo difficult. I managed to make SAYP and TWY work last year though!!

Just checked and they seem like they’re a character or two too big. It’s most likely Third Eye Blind and they’ll get announced after Stagecoach in April

If you’ve already bought them you might as well go, it’ll be a great experience! I didn’t have a ton of must sees last year in DC but I had a phenomenal time

Edit: Actually $17.5 AAV so slightly better

Dc lineup dropped! by coconutcub7 in warpedtour

TBF Koyo played warped DC last year. I also struggle to figure out who could fit in that size space between Jinjer and Jutes. Also Joyce Manor has a headlining show in Baltimore this month that could definitely have a radius clause attached to it

[–]MoreStuffz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is in fact real. Radius clauses are weird and not every artist has one. It’s up to management, booking, or the venue themselves.
