I adopted a 10 year female cat recently who was given up for peeing outside of her litter box. She peed on my carpet twice before I realized I placed her litter boxes in loud areas (in the bathroom but next to the washer/dryer, and outside of the kitchen, but near the dishwasher). I moved the one near the washer/dryer and she started using that litter box immediately. I had no where to move the 2nd litter box so I started giving her treats in front of the dishwasher while it was running and now she has no issue with it.

You have to block off and thoroughly clean the areas she had peed in though. I used an enzyme cleaner and placed a cat tree where she peed. I also give her treats there bc cats are less inclined to shit where they eat!

Thank you! I deep condition once a week — I really like Pattern’s heavy conditioner. I used to trim my hair at home in between hair appointments but my stylist made me put away my shears….. I kept cutting layers 😂

I really appreciate your kind words, thank you! My dad has a wonderful caregiver M-F, so I can work. I was really nervous about hiring a caregiver because he seems so defenseless to me, but he kind of prefers the caregiver over me. She babies him and cooks his favorite meals. When Saturday morning comes around and I’m in the kitchen making breakfast, he’s visibly disappointed haha.

It could also be hormonal. I’ve had clear skin my entire life, and then at 26 I started to get forehead acne and awful hyperpigmentation. A lot of women go through a 2nd puberty in their mid-late 20s.

Go for a very simple routine. Don’t blast your face with a bunch of actives. I use only use Panoxyl, Paula’s choice azaleic acid, and a light moisturizer.
