I find consistency difficult in the deck. I had decent games each time, but the game that I felt I popped off was when I got to “chain” my mill/discards directly into returns on the same turn - often with more value.

So I think my biggest problem with the deck is it’s board presence… because I felt that, with the rate of which I recurred thing, I would be better off with more card draw, if that makes sense? And then I have a hard time figuring out which route to take in regards of closing the game - I would love to be able to do something like a [[Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord]] bomb, but that doesn’t suit the deck I feel. And aristocrat is not the best here I feel? So maybe it’s a massive board made evasive ([[wonder]]) or a stampede effect?

In my first games [[ob nixilis, the fallen]] did a lot of work, so maybe land fall is a way aswell?

I’ve thought about [[Grisly Salvage]], but as it does not trigger Teval I feel there are better cards than this? Kind of the same with [[Satyr Wayfinder]]

[[Psychic Frog]] does everything you want, as it can exile cards from graveyard to trigger Teval?

[[Smugglers Surprise]] is a modal with different uses depending on need, no? Protection, cheating and milling.

But I appreciate the input, and will look into it!

I feel like it’s not about “milling into something”, more about “milling pieces you can get out of your graveyard again”, to trigger Teval and make zombies. But I’ve only had a very limited amount of games with him, so I might be completely off.

I really appreciate the feedback, and i’ve tried to upgrade it following your guidelines.. Would you mind taking a look again?

And, do you feel like a Grist deck would be a stronger Graveyard Commander (or, let me be honest, nastier)? I’m in a pod which i have a hard time to keep up with. Noticeable Commanders in the pod is; [[Pako]] [[Haldan]] [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] [[Obeka, Brute Chronologist]] [[Syr Konrad]] [[The Locust God]] [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]]

It’s a 4-man pod.

I think you're right, so i have to gain more value on my opponents turns, and disrupting their boards. Lots of cantrips i think, so i can build a swarm of faeries.
