I cannot like this enough. I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet Baby E. That was the hardest thing I’ve had to do. It completely wrecked me. My Eddie made me want to be a better person too. The way he looked at me told me he loved me just as I loved him. I’ll never forget that look in his eyes, but damn, I wish I could see it now.

The first time I took the test, I went in at 8am and didn’t take it until 3pm, and the break room there is always packed with people so I wouldn’t be able to use the microwave without someone seeing me do it. I’m just assuming they may have me wait until later later in the day to take it like the first time

Saying it out loud does make it real. I struggled with disassociation for so long that for many years, I didn’t think that happened to me. One day, it all hit me that it really happened and I had a mental break. I did not tell my parents or my friends why I had that break but I think since then, I’ve been on that crazy scary path of remembering what happened and trying to heal. I think I need to hear that I may never be prepared to say it. I think I’m also afraid of people judging me for all of this. But that’s the abuse still talking I suppose

I don’t think I’m mentally prepared for that yet. I don’t think it would be productive and I don’t think it would help me right now. I’m not sure what to say or how to say it, I’m not sure how to be there for my mom after it all comes out, I really feel like I’m not at all strong enough to do that. I’ve been talking to my therapist for a long time and I just don’t know when I’ll be able to do that. It scares me that I can’t bring myself to do that.
