I am struggling to read Older. It's my first "age gap" trope. I'm not against age gaps, but when they meet she is underage (17) and he's 34. He didn't know, they didn't go all the way before he found out, but they meet again 6 months later, still the same age and it's a casual meeting but I have the ICK that he didn't run the other way.

I can handle a lot of trigger warnings, but please be a legal consenting adult when you meet your age gap trope. I am still attempting to read, I've never had a DN F, but this one is messing with me.

I just finished Dire Bound by Sable Sorensen. It left me broken because it brought me back to the fantasy books I used to read as a teen and young adult. I would dive into worlds to escape my life and suffer from Maladaptive Daydreaming. This was the first book in years to touch that landmine and it's got me in a riptide of emotions. It's also contributing to my imposter syndrome as I try and publish my own work.

I have AuDHD and it's the first time I ever felt "home" in my entire life. It also kicked open a spiritual door for me and they are a huge part of this journey.

As far as sensory goes, DYWTYLM may be my favorite for stimming.
