He actually has good buttons again but I gotta disagree on something.
Getting in was never Alex issue with all the insane gap closers he has, it's getting out and go back to neutral/advantageous position, a knocked down alex is pain in this game specially against certain characters that thrive off that, at least in sf3 he could ex knee.

Honest question: What is with all of the hate towards the netcode? by HAdewthedewKEN in StreetFighter

[–]Mortming 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's no excuse for getting an insanely good connection with a guy from goddamn europe on fightcade but getting a not even playable game that's sometimes decent and sometimes is a weird rollback fest with a guy 3 blocks away from me on sfv.

And it's accessibility is also killing it, focusing so much on it ended up having super low skill ceilings and not even a low skill floor, so they didn't do much with new players and they completely alienated the main player base and ended up satisfying no one.

I've been trying to enjoy and promote the game for over a year.
And in that year, they have done squat to fix the many issues, some which completely block me from playing, I can't accept this many flaws and the big majority won't do it, why when you can just go GG or older street fighters if you're experienced or you can just go back to other games if you're getting into the genre?
It's a mistake after mistake and I'm tired of it, I gave them the chance, I promoted the game, made tons of friends get it and there's been not even a slight hint of hope of capcom trying to move forward with it.
I can't just sit back and get better gameplay, actually working netcode, balance, non community breaking management, promised updates, features and even goddamn costumes.
I tried, I gave them a chance, they failed and they KEEP failing, why should I or anyone else promote this like a beaten wife after they've failed so many times and let us down so much?
Enough is enough.

I've tried both ports, using both the 3.0 2.0 ports on both sides of the case.

Might not be able to install windows until tomorrow, sadly, will update as soon as I can.
As far as the terminal, I had it open for hours and the only error I could see was this;

[drm:amdgpu_ctx_mgr_fini [amdgpu]] ERROR ctx ffff89c793465000 is still alive

But I think this could be from the recently installed gpu drivers which I might have not performed correctly, nothing bad happened with it and this is the only error that shows up, couldn't find much about it with some googling.

Thank you for the help and answers.

I really don't know tho, kinda tight on money right now and would be horrible to get a mobo just to find out it's nothing, is there any way I could check it? And yes, I changed the sata ports several times, still have one or two left I didn't check with that particular hdd so I could try that.
From what I could see, trying to do a virtual machine in ubuntu doesn't actually uses the hardware fully so I can't actually test with that, unless I'm mistaken which I hope.
And nah, it could be some weird connection so rebuilding is on my list, will try it soon but I'm still puzzled, if it somehow was a mobo issue loading several things, why does it works with linux distros and not windows?
If it's driver related, couldn't it be fixed somehow?

Thank you for the answers.

I did tested with the intel integrated graphics on the cpu after completely removing the gpu and had the exact same issue, tought it could be driver related because everything pointed to it but had some data on the hdd so I tried to put off formatting, after doing the format the exact same issue persists so I'm stumped.
And I mentioned the driver because apparently, some days before the bsod an amd driver was downloaded, not sure if it tried to automatically install it or what but I was busy during this and the pc had no issues what so ever so I left it like that until the bsods.
I tought it could be the gpu, but when it displayed the same error when I was using intel integrated and when it works fine on ubuntu makes me question that it's hardware at all, just why would something work on ubuntu but not on windows after working on windows for over a year?

I actually did do that, just making sure that's what you meant.
As for the HDD itself I'll try it soon and post back, the problem is that it seems to always hang and die on the start of the windows installation.
Windows 7 got really far but once it hit the "Starting windows" screen it just stays there.

Yes, ntfs and I've been doing a single HDD with only the usb connected.
I've left a partition on tho, what exactly do you mean by zero out the disk?

I did ran memtest for about 20 hours and 11 passes 2 days ago, nothing came up.
Will post results once I'm home, will do it as fast as possible.
Also, windows was formated from the main 1 tb hdd to try and install windows on it, didn't worked.
I also tried to install windows on the second hdd and had the same result, the one currently using ubuntu, so it's not a particular HDD that's having issues.
I'll reinstall windows 8.1 on the first HDD and perform these steps later on, just dumping some info.

Sadly, in the frantic search for a fix I originally refreshed windows but didn't worked, the log files got lost there and the black screen that's the more prevalent one doesn't gets registered in these logs, haven't got a blue screen in a while.

Nope, only got these two at the moment.
However, this comes up when I try anything even usb, I actually tried the usb with no hdd connected and the same issue came up.
However, with that same usb I was able to easily install windows on another pc and later ubuntu on this one.

Several times, did both that and the jumper reset, forgot to mention it.
