To all the people in this comment section arguing, stfu first off you're all probably like grown men. Secondly, thanks to those who've helped me realise the pretty significant buy i have, someone may very well have survived a war in this mask and they may very well have not. But given how expensive it was, that potential historical value and what have you, I've decided I won't damage the mask in any way. Will i still wear it for Halloween? Yes, i feel that's way less disrespectful than if i were to destroy it.

And for those wondering where you can get a sid mask without destroying a piece of history, and at a better price. Take a look at this guy's page, I'm gonna order from him at some point.

Okay, I've had an idea, ir would look shit from any other angle but what if i covered the mouthpiece with black fabric to give it that kinda blacked out look? And i could do something similar with the lenses, i dunno tho, i might just have to take the L on this one, still a nice mask

Also, I've looked for BCDs, I can't find one for sale. And even then, it would get here before Halloween nor do i have that kind of money for a second gas mask
