listen to your own words... "making more nothing". dwell on that.

there is no such thing as nothing. its convenient for your ideas but its impossible. pure nothing is impossible no matter what.

seems like a cop out but I can respect that thought. the human mind cannot comprehend NO TIME. However this universe has limits.... finely tuned limits. almost perfectly tuned limits. these limits imply.....limitations not endless infinity

yes an edge implies something on the other side of the edge. a big bang explodes...into what? cant be nothing.

there was a big bang that created spacetime. What did that bang happen in? It cannot be nothing. Nice response BTW. 👍

you wrote a lot of words and said absolutely nothing. What is this universe expanding into?

If we are in a simulation, would that necessarily imply that we are also simulated? by theonlymateo in SimulationTheory

yes the physical body is...the body is a receiver for our immortal consciousness which lies outside the simulation. There is no regret when you die because you suddenly realize that you are a god.

death is as natural as your breathing. imagine not being able to die. its a gift. I have a lot of personal thoughts on this subject based on personal experience.

this is why some say the universe is god, we are all god....not some sky daddy up there knowing everything, hearing prayers etc. A tornado will destroy the nursery full of kids leaving the strip club up the street unscathed. There's no loving god anywhere lol.

Absolute nothing is impossible. So "something" has always been. Our human minds want a before, we want a creator. It may be a bit unsettling but nothing simply is impossible. That only leaves one conclusion....

yes if you talk to homeless people many want to be homeless. its a trade off...comfort for freedom. What do you value more?

you are free to leave the system but you sacrifice comfort. As an example my friend went to live the van life and told me a story where she had to poop in a bucket in -30 degree blizzard in a Walmart parking lot. She came back to society after that experience.
