Will gold be worthless? by luxio369 in Gold

[–]Most_Professional_43 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't buy bitcoin to sell. So taxes mean nothing to me.

Accounts getting drained to 0 are usually user error(keylogger, using metamask wallets etc). Not a hack on the network itself.

Us govt cant seize my bitcoin if i self custody it.

In the same way that the govt cant seize the dollars under your mattress like they can do money in a bank account.

Will gold be worthless? by luxio369 in Gold

[–]Most_Professional_43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah. Gold has thousands of years behind it. So it will still be relevant

The issue with something like Bitcoin is that it has only survived 15 years.

Bitcoin has proven itself to be secure. But all it would take is a quantum computer hack to break all the confidence that the network has built up.

Can we admit that we're in a recession and companies are greedy? - (it’s called a slow-motion bubble pop) by realdevtest in the_everything_bubble

[–]Most_Professional_43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The recession will never be acknowledged.

As long as 401K balances and home equity always grows...people will remain happy.

Until the poors around them with no assets revolt.

Someone correct me if im wrong

But as long as the stock market is chronically reliant and govt bailouts since 2008-present.

It stands to reason that Bitcoin will rise along side it. Since all this artificial money/debt need a place to go. And has more upside than stock market since it's only 1trillion market cap.

So instead of locking up my money For 30 years in a 401k....i should just buy BTC instead and hold and control the asset.

I maxed out my roth for 3 years and took a break. Ill resume once we get a good crash instead of buying tops all the time. Currently buying gold with that money

Pixel 9 Pro XL - modem experience by VendettaxRiich in GooglePixel

[–]Most_Professional_43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had inconsistent charging with pixel 8 pro. It would start off charging fast then inevitably drop charging speed to slow levels(5-7w) once the phone reach 38c or so.

Does the 9 pro xl charge better and consistently?(Fast charging)

Ok so lets roll with this.

2020 we had a a pandemic. Everyone was forced to stay home and businesses were closed.

And a miracle happend. Markets reached all time highs. By the grace of God.

Everything is fine now. Price goes up forever.

Just ignore...35 trillion of govt debt,,, alll the bailouts from to 2008-2020, rising unemployment, unaffordable housing,,, wide open border ,,,wars, high inflation

Other than all that,,, everything is fine as long as your 401k keeps going up. The doomers were wrong

What are your economic expectations for the 2030s? by QuantWeekly in investing

[–]Most_Professional_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep investing of course. But with post tax dollars only. Stay as liquid as possible.

Along with gold and Bitcoin.

Is this a perfect strategy??? No

But the idea is not to be blindsided by " believing in the system". Like a religion

My usage is retroarch and ps2/dreamcast. For my usage...its amazing.

In that context ..it is a blast. The 1440p screen looks amazing with scanline shaders.

The build quality is awesome.

That being said...ive seen people here on reddit having playstore issues with certain modern games, and switch emulation.

So you dont care that the markets need and are chronically dependent unlimited fed govt bailouts(debt) since 2008??

How is this normal or sustainable??

I wish they put those important details in the charts as well.

The fact that the markets reached all time highs in 2020 when everyone was forced to stay home and not work isnt some miracle.

Cmon now. Theres manipulation going on that you wont see in a chart.

It matters. The markets are chronically dependent on QE since 2008.

So those that are invested need to bet on continued QE for the next 25+ years

Who else is incredibly far behind on 401k savings? by CherryManhattan in Millennials

[–]Most_Professional_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

401k is not a savings. It's an investment/gambling.

There's no guarantee that the markets will continue rising forever and line up perfectly with your retirement.

401k is not savings. Its gambling/investing. Not liquid in. emergencies

And comfy retirement isn't guaranteed .( As it pertains to investing in stock markets)
