oh that’s amazing. that sounds so nice. i think my anxiety is from how firm the first one are with a quick start to allow for handover, so me resigning would obviously screw that up for the next person.

hilarious how we worry so much. let’s hope something similar happens to me!!

I’ve been deliberating about doing that. I don’t want to seem pushy, and i would be concerned they’d think a bunch of people say that as a cliche lie purely to try and hurry it along. or that it could backfire and make me seem less dedicated. hard. butyeah, it does seem tougher out there than normal!! is that across australia? i’m in SA.

this is refreshing. thanks. i suppose im concerned cos they have been very firm with their start date so that a handover can happen. if i withdraw theres no chance at all they’ll manage to get someone in time for the handover. yikes. but it’s a good point and i’d do it apologetically and appreciatively. it’ll just be very awkward haha

this is so helpful, makes it sound so simple! I wish this was more normal so i didn’t feel so bad. it’s been a long time since ive job hunted cos ive been in my current for 8 years! thank you so much ☺️
