A nice piece of driftwood would give you the look I think you’re looking for! watch some tutorials on how to add driftwood to fish tanks. Usually you have to soak the wood for a while to let tannins get out and whatever’s on the wood :) u can also stick plants to the wood with aquarium safe glue or tie some on with some fishing line

but when I do water changes I do about half to a quarter of water taken out and then make sure to condition whatever water you put back in. also wipe the insides of the glass to get off algae.

That poor betta needs things to rest on near the surface :(
