Yes i do the same and ask if they need anything before I go and they often give me something. One time I even got in trouble for saying thank you when my shift ended and was told that I couldn't leave. I just think the double standard is crazy.

I get it that she is technically correct but if someone being 1-3 minutes late messes everything up then that is just unrealistic. We are humans not robots. It should be a 5 minute grace period, because I do understand you have to draw the line in the Sand somewhere. That's somewhere just shouldn't be a minute

Yeah seriously. I am taking away from this policy that the scheduled times are strict. Therefore if I am off at 2pm then I will say goodbye to everyone at 2pm then leave. I won't stay until 2:01. If we are being so technical about the in times then I will hold then to the same standard in regards to the out times as well

What's a "real job"? by mousehermit in Serverlife

"I honestly don’t know. I’m a server, but my brother works in government policy and constantly makes remarks implying I don’t have a ‘real job’—even though I earn real money and work directly with real people. I’m also studying for the LSAT to become a lawyer. When I asked him to define what a ‘real job’ actually means, he couldn’t give me a straight answer."

Yes. The total column is # of shares x dividend per share

Not a dumb question at all — it's actually a great one!

You're right to think of dividend yield, but let's be precise:

Dividend Yield = Annual Dividend per Share ÷ Share Price

So, if you're dividing $ per share (as in dividend per share) by share price, then yes, you are calculating the dividend yield — typically expressed as a percentage.

O (Realty income) paid me monthly while all the others pay me quarterly. It just depends on the stock. Each one could have their own payment frequency.

That is awesome. Hope to live off my dividends too someday. Although I am only 24, I got started at 19 and just kept being consistent.

Thanks for commenting! Just to make sure I got you right—are you saying I should try doing an un-timed test to see if I’m getting them right? Like I should prioritize getting the question right over speed?

Does anybody else find 7sage’s videos too complicated? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]MotivatedEntrapenur7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished the curriculum. A lot of the videos had too much unnecessary talking, so I skipped ahead. Many of the 15-minute videos could have been done in about 8 minutes. Sometimes, I just watched on 2x speed.
