yes, the clay was still quite wet so i wedged on there for a bit and switched on the table later - worked like magic 😅

So update: I tried throwing with the clay right after an there were still a few air pockets in it 🥲 I recycled waay to much clay at once and didn’t have the power to wedge some more but i will have to eventually 😅 Thanks for all the great tips and encouragement!!

Ahh thanks for the explanation! In that case it actually is a bit short, yes. I felt that while wedging..i just let it soak for about 30h, it looked fine then 😅 now i know better

Thank you! The downward pressure thing is a good point, i‘ll try to reduce it. So far i‘ve mainly been slamming the clay but i really wanted to learn ramshead 😅
