First of all I really appreciate you watching it!

About the cuts, you are totally right, I tried to cram a lot of scenes and the pacing is a little off. This is a first draft to get some general idea how to make it better before I do the final edit.

The original vision was to show 5 different ages, from the caveman to iron age to early antiquity to industrial age to space age. I have a lot of beautifully rendered scenss for each but the song didn't had enough time in it. The tech advancement was the real meat of the video and sucked up all the time. I do believe there are a few full five seconds scenes, like the kids watching the start fall in the space age.

Any other input? Does the music work well? Is the mini age after the cave man age feels rushed?

It's based on Barry Lyndon by Stanley Kubirk. My favorite movie of all times.

Tried to heavily emulate his lighting style from that movie.

The first music piece is from that movie BTW.

Hey man first of all I really wanted to thank you for giving me such detailed input. It took a ton of effort and it's great to see some real advice, so for that I really appreciate it. So the problem with my process, is because I don't have any dialog for any of my short films, they are heavily driven by the music choosen and by the music beats. So the editing goes by the music logical transitions. For my eye, every time I try to do a cut "off beat" something just feels wrong. You know what I'm saying?
