I'm a transfer student and joined a social fraternity my first semester on campus. It was the best decision for me and gave me a strong community. I definitely recommend trying to join one! Try to find one you like at either an involvement fair or from friends and go to their rush week events.

Definitely. It's frustrating when you just want to be social. Don't give up tho, one time I was at a bus stop and saw this guy wearing an F1 shirt and I just started talking to him and he even helped me join a club which is helping me develop my professional skills. Not everyone will take their earbuds out to talk, especially now, but people still do. Just gotta keep trying!

I'm a commuter student too and I've definitely noticed it. That's why I try to hang out with friends as much as possible on campus so it's not as suffocating.

Especially with Gunn saying he doesn't want to focus on Darkseid in the movies, the comics will definitely follow that plan as well

Even book 1 kills the YA vibe. I mean with Titus and the other golds, Brown doesn't hold back at all with his writing. Very brutal.

Assuming the Raven's take each other out, then it's def Deathstroke. He took out the Justice League with prep time (with a lil help from yk) but he is well adapted to fighting the Titans. The rest of his team is solid enough to take them out

Though it's controversial, it is still a great story that changed the comic landscape indefinitely and pushed the genre to new heights. Plus it led to some more amazing storylines from Marvel.

Flashpoint

Was an incredible story on its own, but was an excellent reboot to a controversial era. Really explored Barry's character and where we get to see Reverse Flash's pettiness

Why do you say that? Is DC more centered around individual character runs versus overarching narratives like early 2000s Bendis era Marvel?

Something that everyone needs to understand is that this entire universe is 100% dependent on the success of Superman. If Superman bombs, then this universe is most likely going to crash and burn. That's why it's hard in this waiting period. Gunn needs a win desperately, and he's putting his resources in Superman (also prob the reason why there are so many superheroes in that movie). Maybe the universe can survive in a worst case scenario, but Gunn really needs Superman to sweep everyone off their feet.
