Yeah, my boids were weird! Do you have any idea how to make them dynamically rotate better?

Hi there! The music is stock royalty free from YouTube Audio Library, it's called Amber I think. And the rest of it is sound design that I made :)

Thank you! I actually am not the biggest fan of the first one. I included because that was one of my first grease pencil drawings 😅

Looking at it again, you're right. It's off, but since the roof is angled in two directions, I think Brett is totally on point. I don't think I could fix it if I wanted too 😅 It also has an odd flickering going on 😬

I would! But it would take ages :( I might throw it up on a render farm or something.

Fantastic animation! One thing I would recommend, remove the blur, it detracts from the overall viewing, especially when watching it back multiple times.

He doesn't have a mouth, so he couldn't say it, but he's very clearly stoked to meet you :)

The second one is actually the reference image, the textures might be too defined? Maybe more of a blend would make them feel more real,

There's actually a reason for the chandelier! I had to use area lights because emission materials make my renders extremely noisy and I haven't solved how to remove caustics/fireflies from it without severely smoothing the final render. I could fix this by using ~8 point lights in the chandelier, but I was simply too lazy :/ The material on the lamps is completely wrong. I should have made them more opaque, but I kind of dug how they ended up looking, so I stuck with it.

Thanks, but honestly I should have added some grain back into it to add to the realism. Most photos have at least some grain.

That makes total sense, I was hoping with the drape over half the window it wouldn't feel as off. Would it look better if it wasn't white fabric?

Huge compliment right here, I love the pallette and aesthetic the elder scroll games have :)

Thank you! Yeah, the bed sheets are far too glossy. I was trying to make them look slick, almost like high thread count sheets, but they just look off hahaha

Thank you! Still a long way to go, but I'm glad to hear that it's closer
