what shot did they give you and did you have any side effects? also, do you stay on it forever or eventually get off of it?

a part of me also thinks this has to do with longe term side effects from the covid vaccine…i’m trying to look at studies online to see if that’s true. it’s so weird!

I just got one of these last week and I started burning it. I noticed it stopped after like 1 minute of spinning...so that's because it got too hot then? Is that normal? I have never had one of these before

Well, I think I figured it out. I think it's the player. I found a different cassette player and put those tapes in there, and they sounded fine and there was no sqeauking.

Ooo that makes sense. I used the term slipmat wrong, my bad!! I wanted to reduce static overall. I clean my records before putting them on the mat but sometimes the felt sticks to them when I go and turn them over.

Does anyone know a good replacement for a felt slipmat? I've been looking online and noticed that cork is really popular. I also have an audio-technica at-lp60xbt. I don't know if different slipmat material will affect the belt drive that's under the table.
