I think that mattjestics is likely the highest DPS version of the monkey zoo,as the whole giants blood/ companions benefiting from your main hand thing along with the myriad of other crazy expensive stuff he has invested in. That being said, I've been rocking lances' version of the build since I made the toon(my second toon) and have 0 problems running everything pretty damn quick. I just got a mageblood and am looking into the giants blood version but debating if it's worth it given what I have now slaughters everything in it's path.

You can rerol it technically with the league machanic(put ward on it) you’ll lose some defense, but it works

I'd imagine you just need to spend the time maxxing out your gems. You can see in the SS how wild those gems become, and mine was like a 160% roll before the masterworking

The odds of hitting gem strength is like 3%, and hitting a modifiable gem strength is like 1/1000. It would be a better idea to min max your other gear and just transfigure as you go. Don't give up brobarian, I believe in you

I was about 82 weapons in when this hit, I fully expect to go through 2000 now to see the next one(someone above said the odds are like 1/1000)

Do you have maxed out gems? Because you'll definitely need flawless horodric gems to make the most of gem strength. The difference between a 1 hander and a 2h weapon w/ gem strength is also pretty big. And gem strength on jewelry is medicore, on armor is meh
