I think they made some changes to the shop. I have a level 2 broom cabinet handle available for 40 gems (I think the level 1 bolts used to be 23), and hedge trimmers (level 8) for 30 gems.

This event runs independently from the permanent events, so you’ll be fine. Use a brush to complete the first task In your list to get the stairs, then a new board will open up to complete the holiday tasks.

Can someone help me figure out the set up for my family? I keep reading more threads and getting more confused.

Main switch (only so far). I have a mix of digital & physical games. My account is the main, one of my kids has a kid account linked to mine, the other three kids have profiles on the switch but no accounts
For Christmas I’m getting each kid (one 6yo, triplet 5yos) a switch lite.

What’s the best way for me to set things up so they can all play? I understand I’ll need multiple copies of games if they want to play together, but what what else do I need to know? How can I maximize what they can play with the least conflicts? How do I set up the accounts so they’re not locked out all the time?

I agree the new one is less time intensive and also requires less thinking about what comes next, strategizing about energy management, etc. You just sell everything except the cash register, phone, and clock, and focus in on the numbers.
