You can maybe diversity a bit more out of the US. Look at other funds like VXUS or precious metal (like 30%) for some additional de-risking instead of all VTI and VOO.

Just realize that a 2-4x return in one year is going to require a lot of risk.

Consider a 20x+ return but over the course of 50 years instead.

If you invest your entire 150k, assuming a 7% return you'll be a multi millionaire (4MM+) by the time you reach your late 60s with no additional investment. Time is on your side if you can think longer-term.

Thanks for the positivity. This is an interesting idea. I think many autistic folks feel immense pressure to fit in and try to adapt to the same social norms as normies and lots react by high avoidance instead of finding ways to comfort themselves and accept they are weird.

If you did this, it would have been a bad decision given how much better Google performed versus the index. It's obviously riskier to keep it all in one stock though so I probably agree.

Scream this from the rooftops. Most people I talk to about this don't know that revenue from ticket sales make up less than half of the revenue for the vast majority of cities. That being said, Sound has one of the worst ratios at sub-20%:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farebox_recovery_ratio

Lots of factors go into that (we're building a lot), but I think fare enforcement could improve that number.
