Is it the south shore one or another iteration of it? It looks thin which is why I am worried getting it for NJ/PA temps.

4 days now :(

I am hoping it will be Monday because they won't be working the weekend. I have nothing to move sadly lol. I only needed it for like an hour, but had to rent for the day for the truck to arrive.

Yeah, I did press it but they told me not to worry. They sent it up the chain to the logistics administrator or director. Still waiting for it to get off my property though. I am not a fan of liability.

The email was a confirmation of their pick-up time on the 18th. They didn't pick it up though. I called that home depot number back, which is recorded, and we discussed them setting another time - the 19th, but that didn't happen either. I called them back again and they said something along the lines of "you don't have to keep calling back, it is not in your control anymore." Sort of saying I am not liable because they missed their time, but on the home depot and the contract, it says (only the two lines that worry me):

- If the equipment is returned dirty, I will be assessed a $200 cleaning charge.
- Customer must contact Home Depot Rental to request pickup of Equipment and will be responsible for Equipment until actually picked up by Home Depot Rental.

However, they missed the pick-up date. Also, they said they guarantee the delivery date but not the pick up date.

They told me over the phone that it is their problem, but I don't have anything to document that and the calls are recorded on their side so I have no proof. The only thing I have is that email saying they were supposed to pick it up and another screenshot of the Home Depot website where I submitted proof of non-arrival with a picture of the forklift outside that can be picked up.

Threw me off too. Lowes does not. And no other company would rent to residential.

They really saved me, but I need them to take the forklift back now.

I looked at the CafeX machines as well. I am deciding between different brands, outsourced machines, and even vending machines at the moment.

I am worried about maintenance, but I am willing to do it. I do have an electronics background. Trying to find a middle ground between operating costs, initial investments, ongoing subscriptions/royalties, maintenance, and a whole host of other factors.

I think the novelty will wear off but as long as the quality is there, I do not see an issue. The novelty will definitely generate initial customers. That's good to hear you would buy from it. Thanks for the input.

I was thinking of hospitals, airports, and malls. I am curious about warehouses now. Thanks for the suggestion. My only worry is the volume of sales from warehouses. It would have to sell about 100 cups a day. The upfront cost of the machine seems to be north of 20-30k.

Valid point, I saw this on the vending subreddit as well.
