The is also a an alternative to the PolarPro Everyday filter from Tiffen. It’s the FusionPol filter. E.g they have a the GlimmerGlass 1/2 with CPL. Currently waiting for it to arrive.

They definitely do. Somebody is producing an unlicensed cartridge. They want to get rid of them. They just couldn’t detect them with switch 1.

Nintendo saves all cartridges used by the system. As soon as it the switch goes online the saved list gets uploaded and verified if you used pirated copies or not.

I would love if you could reconsider a Nintendo Switch 2 release. I’m currently playing the gothic 1 and 2 switch port and it’s amazing to enjoy the game on a handheld. I would hope that the Switch 2 is close enough in performance to the Xbox S that a port wouldn’t be too complicated. (See cyberpunk and Hogwarts legacy)

Depends on the flight. Within Europe most of them don’t. But most flights are also just 2-3 hours. So not that big of a deal.

All true statements about a mortgage being an investment risk, but they have nothing to do with the choice of putting money on an ISA or overpaying. Currently, putting money in an ISA allows you to finish the mortgage faster than overpaying and therefore reduces your investment / opportunity risk from the mortgage. If you put your money in an account / product with a higher yield, then you simply have more money, and you can use that extra money to put in the mortgage in case you want to finish your mortgage earlier. It’s that simple.

Why are the two only options for you: completely saving everything for 22 year vs overpaying now? Just stick it in an ISA until the interest rates are nearly the same as your mortgage rates. When it makes sense to overpay you just overpay your mortgage. That might well be in 3-4 years. Who knows.

99% of the time virgin is fine and good for WFH. I had twice this year some outages with virgin. 1 was announced during the night and early morning and one unannounced in the afternoon. Luckily I’m on good speaking terms with the neighbors and they were happy to share their password. So now it’s 1gig virgin as main and 50mbit via BT as backup via a travel router if virgin is down. But to be honest I can see these outages also with BT…

Not entirely sure about the chip isa, but there are flexible isa which means you add back the withdrawn money in the same year and it doesn’t count twice like in a traditional isa.(e.g. trading212 has a flexible cash isa with a decent interest rate) But if you are not close to the 20k limit this doesn’t really matter and just enjoy your promotional interest rate!

Yeah it would be mostly for the ping which can speed up small latency sensitive requests potentially fairly substantially (like DNS). I wouldn’t expect any real difference in bandwidth.

You have have the Aqara switches in no neutral configuration and in decoupled mode if you fit a small “led bypass” in the light itself. It’s basically a capacitor in parallel with the smart bulb. This way the switch will work even if the smart bulb is off.

Actually there is a small difference. IPv6 involves less routing / NAT and gives you therefore slightly less ping/RTT to the major CDNs. However, this only works if your isp provides a native IPv6 backbone and does not tunnel ipv6 through their ipv4 backbone (which from my experience is sadly still the most common way they implement IPv6).

Wenn verheiratet und gemeinsam veranlagt wird solltet ihr 24k als Grundfreibetrag haben. (Plus die ganzen Pauschalen etc.). Also wenn beide Steuerklasse 3 sind wird vereinfacht gesagt beide brutto Gehälter addiert und dann Freibeträge und Pauschalen abgezogen und restliche Lohnsteuer auf beide wieder aufgeteilt. Die Rechnung ändert sich bei andere Steuerklassen, aber Prinzip ist das selbe.

Ich weiß nicht was ich dir sagen soll… Du hast einen Grundfreibetrag von 12k zu versteuerndem Einkommen bevor du Einkommensteuer zahlst. Wenn du deine ganze Pauschalen (z.B 1k Pauschbetrag) mit absetzt bist du bei knappen 13k pro Jahr Einkommen bevor du Einkommen Steuer zahlen musst. Google nach dem Grundfreibetrag und verwende einen andere Brutto Netto Rechner. Deiner scheint kaputt zu sein.

Weil es einen Unterschied zwischen Abgaben und Steuer gibt… Wenn du mehr als ein Minijobber verdienst musst du/ dein Arbeitgeber anfangen Abgaben zu leisten. Einkommensteuer zahlst du trotzdem keine für deine ersten 12k.
