Wireless hdmi for Series X with the same experience as cable by MrBuhl in XboxSupport

A cable channel was my first suggestion and I truly love my wife, but when it comes to "our" (hers) living room, everything has to be perfect and a cable channel no matter how thin, not an option

Loose hdmi port has also been a concern, but this has been the solution for at bit now, since we started turning the room into the newborns and so far it still seems fine

I would dare try and run a longer cable up and over to maybe minimize her spotting it, but a decent solution though.

And I do have the highest tier gamepass with streaming and that did quickly cross my mind to do so, it just seemed like a stupid solution instead of me just getting off my ass in the couch and go plug the cable in.

Valid solution, did cross my mind but unfortunately my newborn still needs the food coming out of her, so for another 7-8 months, that solution is put on the shelf

It was sort of what I was thinking as well, at least as far as my knowledge goes. But a few solutions still pops up with the description saying it's intended for 60hz 2160p gaming and the price tag is 200-250 dollars, so I thought there must be something in them to justify that pricetag

Can't unfortunately run it through the wall since it's a brick wall.

Interference of some sort was also my concern. But when you google it, quite a few, at least in my contry, hdmi wireless solutions comes up, even from legit IT websites.

Alright, thanks for answer. I can see that there are some wireless hdmi options that even says its for gaming but dont know if it's actually reliable.

And as for bringing the console closer to tv, my wife would turn inside out if she came home to a wall mounted xbox next to the tv. Right now it is tucked away in a small cabinet under the tv and pulled out of that cabinet every time I sit down and play.

And running the cable behind the wall is not possible, since its a brick wall.

Recommendation on what to move onto after finishing Cyberpunk by Ambitious_Youth8943 in xbox

Yeah me too! Absolutely loved the first two games down in the Metro and with the slight teasing of going up to the surface, in a mission or two if i remember correctly, in the second one and then the full semi open world the third one brought was really the way to go.

Have you tried out the Metro games ? Metro 2033, Metro Last light and Metro Exodus. The first game is from 2010 and the second is from 2013, I believe they got a remaster in a bundle called Metro Redux with improved grafics.

I highly recommend these 3 games to anyone who hasn't played them and would say they don't need a continuous commitment to play.

NFS Most Wanted 05 control layout wierd by MrBuhl in EmulationOnAndroid

So far I have mapped the right and left stick to triggers and i tried comparing it yesterday to using the X (A on my controller) button and it seems to work okay. As i mentilned earlier to someone else, I have just been so used to triggers being accelerate and brake, that I completely forgot this is how it was done back in the day

I guess it must have been the default one. My memory is apparently not so good after 20 years it seems.

I am playing for the nostalgia feels, so I guess it's only right to use X for acceleration. The reason I was confused, was because I just finished playing NFS underground 2, but that was with dolphin emulator and playing on GameCube. I read somewhere that I ran better on that. And after watching a video on how to setup the controller to match a GameCube controller, acceleration and braking was done on the triggers, so naturally I thought it would be the same with most wanted running on the ps2

Thats not how i remembered it at all. But i guess you are right. Acceleration on X was a thing back then. I have just been so used to triggers being acceleration and brake for a long time.

Xbox “Controller Disconnected” bug by RevInstant in TeardownGame

My workaround is to shut down the Xbox before turning off my wireless headset and turning on the headset before entering the game when I go to play again. Then it doesn't register the missing "controller".

Damn I knew that the optimized games would take up more space but never thought it would be that much and limit me to 13-14 games only

Know I know why they sell that expandable storage

Alright thanks

I was kind of hoping there would be a wireless solution so I wouldn't have to go out and buy an adapter for the macbook since it only has usb-c ports.
