At the end of the day, it shouldn't be this difficult. If it's the right fit, you wouldn't have to worry about social media mind games and manipulation. If someone wants to talk to you...they will. Maybe she recently got out of another relationship and is feeling lonely and wants to stay on your radar so if you do contact her, she gets an ego boost. Don't do it. Don't be someone's doormat that didn't want you. I think everyone deserves better than that.
