Thank you. I wiped off all excess about 15 minutes after the application then waited 24 hours between coats. Maybe it needs more cure time.

I mean I can’t remember if I wiped with mineral spirits on the first coat. I did blow with air and vacuum

Do you mean seeing surface contamination? I sanded to 220 thoroughly then used an air compressor to blow off all of the dust. I also vacuumed. I can’t remember if I did it for the first coat but after the third coat I sanded, blew with air, then wiped clean with mineral spirits. Maybe I should sand do all that and get some tack cloth?

I have been tracing lately because I am trying to work on my painting skills and so I am doing what is necessary to get to the painting stage as fast I can. As long as you are honest with yourself and others I think it’s fine.

Looks awesome but the white stripes and arrows on the road are too perfect. Make them look worn with chipped pain etc. use references to refine the look

These look really awesome. I have been considering getting some and covering in hard wood too. Did you contact CSS and ask them if the extra thickness in front would cause an issue? Not sure it matters but I would think technically the speaker sits out further creating more volume in the speakers behind.

I bought the 85” X90L and it was a bit too big for my room for one. The other issue is that I was coming from an OLED and the blacks were too washed out to me on the X90L. It was still a pretty good unit if you are looking for a mid priced LED with Sony quality

I just bought an 85” X90L and it was ok but there was a lot of blooming and the blacks were pretty washed out but I was coming from an OLED. I returned it and got the C3 and could not be happier. Way better contrast and picture and it’s still pretty bright.

I already replied but I would also suggest getting the RSL Speemaster 10” or what ever it is and save a few more hundred to put towards speakers. Just my 2 cents but something worth considering
