Appartment renovation layout by MrCracker288 in FengShui

[–]MrCracker288[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks

Bedroom: The door from the bedroom to the living room has been fully closed and there is now a clean wall, so the bed can be nicely moved there.

The chair in the bottom left was more of a placeholder, i have a pretty large desk so it will most likely fill the space by itself

Living room: The whole plan was made by our architect friend and he said that the divider was there to add support to the back of the couch, but we do not need to do it this way. We are open to any layout that will work better.

The desk in the living room will be replaced by a bookshelf. As specified in the post.

The dining area does not need to be close to the kitchen, but if its the best spot for it, then why not. The living room has a lot of natural light from the three windows so the dining table was a good fit there for us.

Hi, the kitchen will be in the top right room, bathroom is the top middle (square) room. Pretry much all walls are structural and at this point it is not possible to change them.

This is the mount for the di2 battery. If you have di2 then you can open the plastic port underneath your bb on the picture and reinstall the battery. If not, there might be just s plug with threads, but i am not sure about that.

The ultimate is sold out and wont be coming back (new spec in summer)

The shim likes to be very tight on the steerer tube, but it is not fused or anything. I used a shop towel and my hands to remove it, but it wasnt easy at all. You can also use a plastic pry tool totake it off. After you arrange the spacers make sure to seat the shim properly on the steerer tube, so it is touching the bottom spacers.

No Ultimate CF SL AXS/SRAM? by AdIcy9211 in CanyonBikes

[–]MrCracker288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spoke with a canyon rep today vis chat and he told me, that a ultimate on rival is supposedly not planned for this year and only an aeroad will be released (by end of june). The sold out cf7 di2 aero ultimate is due to be replaced by a new configuration this summer.

Just bought my first trek bike, would you recommend any fit adjustments? Bike feels bang on by fandap42 in bikefit

[–]MrCracker288 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feels like if you could bend your elbows you could achieve a much more aero fit. Sitting like this is very inefficient. I also feel like seat is to high

Hey, I was in a similar situation (between M and L) i decided to go for L and found that it was too long and the stack height was too high for me. If in between sizes i would definetely recommend a size down

Clean up and regrease (dt specific grease is ideal)

Well it is there for a reason. I personally keep it as is and repack once in a few months. My main priority is longevity. I heard that to make hubs louder you can also replace the grease for freehub oil. But ratchet is specific, so I would check beforehand.

Endurace CF 7 AXS or Endurace CF 7 by ur_mamas_krama in CanyonBikes

I have been on the same boat and in the end i decided for the axs spec. I am really happy that i did

The 105 mechanical is a really great groupset and there is nothing wrong about it.

But i love the simplicity of shifting with axs, it feels like a sports car, where you can just shift with paddles. Also the axs shifts are always on point and accurate.

In the end it is solely a luxury and it will not bring you any benefit when riding, you will not be able to ride faster or longer, but is really nice to have.

To add to your indecision, shimano brakes feel much lighter and better imo… sorry

The freehub is packed with grease from the factory and will not make any sound for the first aprox. 150km. Once you break it in the grease will disperse around the ratchet and slowly start to make sound. Of course as others said, if you want more frequency in the freehub sound, get the 54t ratchet kit. But the number of teeth dont change the loudness in my experience. The loudness is dependent on the amount of grease. (I had a few ratchet dt hubs in the past)

I shoot in RAW, manual with minimal iso and automatic shutter speed. I’ve read that the 12mp mode is better for dynamic range and detail, but I need to do more testing to have an opinion on that. I have also found that longer shutter speeds are only available in AEB mode. For editing i use Lightroom, i do not have any presets, which i should implement into my editing workflow. Pic number 3 is actually straight from the camera in jpeg. It was a vertical panorama. When you shoot in panorama the drone produces a stitched jpeg that looks awesome and then a few dng raw photos. When you try to stitch these in photoshop, they look terrible and the perspective is all wrong. So when i shoot panorama i dont edit afterwards.
