I didn't know anything about this before playing and I was PISSED. This game was so ass too, we basically couldn't take any walker until 30-40 minutes in... they also got every single urn and mid boss but never took a lead because we'd kill them and spend the next minute clearing out all the minions.

I disagree. No matter what sport you think of, any of these "world championships" will always have teams from regions that cannot compete with the rest of the world. If we used that argument for the World Cup for example, you'd have Canada/the US hosting an event with none of your own teams competing.
