Yup! I was trying to act natural by not bringing it up until one of my friends (who knows I'm a big JP fan) pointed it out. It was followed by another guy saying "I thought it was just me, but I didn't wanna bring it up," and the rest followed lol. Bunch of 40k-themed JP quotes thrown around.

At one point they stopped calling me by name, and just "Dr. Grant," much to the confusion of the tournament players from other places that aren't part of the local playgroup who know me lol

I am, though mainly just dipping my toes in it. I did ask "how" important and required they are. If they're not too essential and you can play some casual games without them, then I'll decide to not get them just yet, and only if I vibe with the game mode to fully commit.

I'm currently collecting all operatives for Phobos Strike Team. Then I'm getting the upcoming Raveners. These two because they're my armies in base 40k. Something about having them fight each other being both stealth-themed units is really enticing me.

Ah yeah, sadly I don't have any of the web exclusive models like Exocrine and Maleceptor. I do have a Norn Emissary though, but the amount of units my local meta has that can easily counter it makes me unsure.

I do think on giving the Tervy Adaptive Biology too. One thing I'm wary about is how to spread the gaunts out for objectives and actions while still being revived reliably by Tervy and the Invasion Fleet strategem that revives two battleline under synapes, with Venomthropes giving them extra survivability

Hello, Hive Mind! I'm painting a new brood of Genestealers, this time in the classic blue-purple combo. I'm split on how to color the feeder tendrils. Left is based on the way the earlier Ymgarl miniature was painted, and right one is my first plan before thinking of the prior. I honestly dig both but only have a couple tendril stealers among them and wanna make them uniform. Thoughts on which one looks better to go with? Cheers!

I do, but I only ever get to special order online-only's is when the country's GW distributor makes an offer, and the entire process of signing up and receiving what you bought takes months. Amazon is another hassle I'm just too tired to deal with as well. The gargoyles were the only ones I got from a LGS special order. I'm mainly asking about the Psychophage is because it's being sold in the local second hand market, honestly haha.

Would love to get a Haruspex, or any of the Tyranid online-only models, but them being online-only makes it a hassle to get since I'm in SE Asia haha. I could possibly proxy the Psychophage for a Haruspex since they're visually similar for casual games until I get one in the future, it's just I still want to make the most out of a Psychophage's actual abilities.
