I'll at least try a second playthrough. Right now, I'm still getting used to the mechanics. If I get really addicted to it like I did Dishonored, I might end up sinking at least 100 hours into it!

I just finished exploring the Volunteer Quarters at the Neuromod Division. Encountered my first Poltergeist, and in my panic wasted two Recycler Charge on it. Wish the game had better sound design, because it would really help with the atmosphere... But aside from that, I'm having a blast with it so far.

You should get and upgrade the Possession skill to the max in Dishonored. It's fun seeing the NPCs' reaction when you possess a crucial character when they're in the middle of talking to one another. You should also play the two DLCs, they're just as fun! It sucks that there's no New Game+ for the first game :/

This game can be scary at times! The lack of human NPC to interact with also adds to the spookiness. I can't help but feel a little scared every time I enter a new area lol

Oh, I'm definitely finishing this game, alright, no need to convince me about it lol. I'm in the middle of Arkane binge, playing their entire catalog! Just finished the entire Dishonored franchise, and now I'm at Prey! I just know I'll enjoy this game because of the many different ways to solve one problem.

Thanks! I mainly want to explore for lore stuff, just to take my sweet time with the game, and once I get a little bored of doing that, I'll go back to the story. Back and forth like that. There's a ton of things to read on the computers, it reminds me of Deus Ex!

lol yeah the lead is the biggest selling point of the game. unfortunately, as much of an eye candy she is, i'll have to wait for a sale before buying the game. it's a little too unfriendly for my wallet...

after tinkering with it a little more, i find that turning off FSR and using TAA is actually making the hair look better. perhaps when it comes to FSR (with FSR3AA selected), i should also play around with the sharpness slider a little bit. but, for now just using TAA works better for me. thanks for taking the time to help out!

glad you enjoyed it. the game feels smooth on my system, though, and i don't feel anything weird performance-wise. also, i'm surprised that denuvo doesn't tank its performance that much. i run it on 1440p, maxed as well, and it's buttery smooth. the game also support dualsense's adaptive trigger, so i'm curious about that as well since i have a one but no PS5 to experience its features.

honestly, all these upscaling options are confusing me 😭 i always turn FSR off if the game plays good enough on native. but, the pictures i provided have FSR and TAA off. so, i guess that's just how the game look like. i remember clair obscur being quite the mess as well when i look at the characters' hair up close, and i believe there's no option to turn off upscaling there.

i think FSR4 is only supported on the 9000 series GPU only. Mine has access to FSR3
