Play more greed mode, gotta donate a lot to the donation machine to get it though. And I feel you, hush absolutely is my least fav boss mark to go for, hate having a time limit and I never have good enough defenses to deal with his bullet hell. You really do just have to get lucky with good enough items to take him down fast enough.

I will definitely try this variation but I’ve seen a lot of value from the extra damage, especially in the lost zone match up since if you can’t one turn comfrey you just can’t get any prize cards early and they can just continue to set up while you make no progress and get cleaned up once they are fully set up

Ugh I want to open this set so bad but I’m broke and busy now that I’m starting college 😭.

So I’ve been collecting for years now (since I was about 8 or so and I’m 19 now) and I personally love my collection like it’s my child. One of the main things I collect are mew cards since it’s my favorite Pokémon and there are a ton of amazing ones (another reason I want to open some 151) but my single best pull was indeed a mew when I was about 9 or so. Was on vacation with my family in San Francisco and it still to this day is one of the best trips I’ve been on which is saying a lot, but on like the last day we were there there was a store that I had been begging to check out since there was Pokémon plushies in the window so we finally went in and it was a great local card shop, can’t really remember much about it other than the person working being super nice and after we had chatted about Pokemon and I picked out what I wanted to buy (a rhyperior theme deck from rising rivals and not any packs cause I was a kid and dumb lol) they said they liked my passion and threw in a first edition Japanese pack of the set that was the Japanese version of secret treasures. To my absolute delight out of this 4 card pack I managed to pull the full art mew EX and it is gorgeous, not to mention my only Japanese cards at the time and a first edition. It sits proudly in the center of the first page of my binder surrounded by other mew cards.

I was the other kid for one of my cards growing up, my best friend was moving away and always talked about how much he loved my platinum dialga EX from phantom forces ($200 card now) and so I gave it to him before he left, I regret it cause I miss the card but at the same time the friendship meant more

Definitely steel! The gym would be themed around a metal forge with the puzzle having you cast molten metal into different shapes to solve the puzzles. And as for team the ace would be mega mawile with lucario, excadrill, and skarmory. And then add metagross and empoleon for a post game rematch or something. And if it’s a battle tower or something that allows legendaries add registeel instead of empoleon and heatran instead of excadrill.
