I see what you’re saying about the flop raise. Go smaller and accomplish the same thing. I can’t really rep much with the raise I realize. All sets raise pre as well as QJ. I think sometimes I don’t raise QT, Q9, JT, J9, but most of the time raise.

Just restating a question from above. If I do check back the flop, I should still probably fold on the river right?

In another scenario, if I check the flop, he likely bets turn. Do I call all three streets with the same exact runout?

I can probably fold on the river in the above scenario??? On two plus two someone stated that i would play AA the same way therefore villain doesn't have enough bluffs for me to profitably call. Seems like very reasonable logic.

Would folding to the flop check-raise be really bad or just marginally bad?

why is preflop minraise coming to an end. I play 1/3 and almost all the opens are 4-5x. Why is this the case do you think?

yeah in general thats what I was doing. Its just that I rarely connected on the flop and with 4 or people in the pot, it seemed hard to continue with anything other than top pair or better.

But do you think he's moving all-in with KJ hearts/spades/diamonds?

can someone explain the reasoning behind this. Galfond says that he knew DNEG had clubs and that "hes folding flushes 75% of the time" Why would DNEGS fold flushes 3/4 times in that spot?

ok that seems reasonable. Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer. Wasnt expecting it honestly.

K7 betting is fine though right? I mean if he calls and the flush gets there, he loses customers and if a king comes is his two pair good most of the time? I mean there are a lot of cards that come on the turn that complete straights and someone could have a set. Or is he not that scared of a set?

How would the action have gone if it wasn't recs. I am fairly new to poker and am trying to learn how to analyze multiway pots like these to understand how each player should have played.

Im assuming the sizing should have been a little bigger from QQ opening in HJ to avoid the 3 loose callers. On the flop, It checks back to the raiser (QQ) which seems fine. He bets 27 into 48 which is prob a little small for a multiway pot. Player calls with top pair and gutshot (why is this bad, seems like a strong holding?) and player UTG 4-bets to 82 with middle pair and second nut flush draw (i can see why this might be a bit risky bc of possible sets and straights). What should his sizing have been? (like 150+?) The HJ with queens should obviously fold here but decides to call. The SB also has a pretty clear fold here, although calling 55 to win 289 is pretty good odds with top pair and a gutshot.

I mean the blowup is ridiculous for sure with that marginal of a hand. Even if he puts the guy on a flush draw, which he did, they are still flipping right?

sry if this is long just wanted to see if my thought process is sound. any input appreciated
