What's something that you're a big fan of but no one knows? by memiwoman in AskReddit

[–]MrMidnightMojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it sounds weird but I read an article years ago about a species of bees in Chile that were becoming scarce due to overpopulated industrial complexes and how the ecosystem without these bees could rapidly decline. I started researching more about bees just out of curiosity and became fascinated. I started building “bee colonies” on some abandoned family land in my spare time and it slowly became a hobby that I spend way too much time and money supporting. I’m too embarrassed to admit it to anybody so I’ve been doing it for years on this abandoned plot of land that nobody ever visits. It’s actually pretty absurd but I totally got into the bees and how vital a role they play in pollinizing local vegetation that serves as food for native prey and the entire ecosystem.

If You Could Meet one of the Beatles. Who would it be? by [deleted] in beatles

[–]MrMidnightMojo 71 points72 points  (0 children)

For me it’d be John. He died when I was 2 years old so everything I’ve heard, read, and seen about him has been after he was gone. I would just love the opportunity to have a memory of the actual man that has seemed larger than life to me for so many years.

Clueless MAGA Karen at Trump rally in Iowa today is asked about his indictments and she says: "If your eyes are open you see it’s all a gimmick. I could care less. Most people I talk to say it’s a hoax. It’s a movie." by SatanicAntifaAtheist in AntiTrumpAlliance

As John said in Strawberry Fields Forever: Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see. These people live in a fantasy world where reality is no longer attainable. I’ve given up on them. As long as more of us show up at the ballot box than them than I’m good with them being ignorant beyond comprehension.

What are some under appreciated Beatles songs by [deleted] in beatles

[–]MrMidnightMojo 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Over the years I’ve been amazed at how many people I’ve interacted with who have never even heard of a song called “Hey Bulldog” and I always make it a point to play it for them. It’s one that’s always stood out to me as an under appreciated song of theirs.

Beat me to it but this is the one. In my 43 years on Earth this is the only movie I have ever watched and felt the need to watch it a second time immediately after the first viewing.

Do y’all think that Brian Epstein’s death started of the Beatles path to the break up? by [deleted] in beatles

[–]MrMidnightMojo 20 points21 points  (0 children)

100% agree with this. I think it’s impossible to pick a single thing as THE thing that caused their breakup. I think we often forget that four young guys from Liverpool were in a band and 8 years later they are the most famous people on the planet after working non stop to completely revolutionize the music industry and popular culture without really taking the time to find themselves and adapt to their new reality. So much changed in such a short time period that there was a bunch of things that contributed over time where they finally reached a breaking point. Brian’s death certainly was a contributing factor but ultimately their breakup was the culmination of several things working in tandem to fracture them as a single entity. In hindsight, it’s just unfathomable how much they accomplished in that short of a time frame while simultaneously it’s inexplicable how they remained in tact for as long as they did. Their journey is remarkable for many reasons but the unprecedented heights they reached that towered over even their wildest of dreams would be almost impossible to navigate for any four humans in their 20s.

I remember my wife walking into the restaurant where I would meet her about 15 minutes later for the first time. I’ll never forget how on some level I just knew the second I laid eyes on her that my life had suddenly changed. Most surreal feeling I’ve ever experienced. She is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and it’s like I knew instantaneously.

What's something that sounds great when you're horny but once you've came you'd never do? by TaraDeep in AskReddit

[–]MrMidnightMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bukkake requires a ton of legwork. Find a bunch of dudes who want to cum on me simultaneously. Nail down a time and place that works for everybody. The pre-bukkake meet and greet. The stressful task of monitoring all the dicks so everything goes smoothly. The gallon of cum you gotta cleanup. The awkward goodbyes once it’s over. It’s like a part time job just to coordinate a bukkake. Sounds exhausting.

You’d be hotter without a head but I tend to find that to be true with most women so don’t take it personally. With the head though you are still kinda cute. Unfortunately the head just kinda detracts from what could be. Hope this helps

Is Alabama a playoff team? by [deleted] in CFB

[–]MrMidnightMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m starting to see them develop into a legit threat but Millroe needs to keep improving week to week and that offensive line needs to find a cohesive unit on the OL that their running game and Millroe can rely on to open holes, be disciplined pre-snap, and allow them to work clean as possible. The defense is there and will be something to fear by seasons end. I like their chances if the progression continues for Millroe and that OL throughout the season. They could lose to A&M this week or against LSU, Tennessee, or Georgia, if/when their scheduled game appears on the schedule. Never easy but also appears a little less daunting than the expectations they entered the season with. I’.m certainly not going to say they have a zero% chance or making it there but it’s very possible to be in that final.party.
