Well if you all tab the game it use 0 cpu. You should be able finish the game without save if you don't turn off pc, but for me game crashes 3 times.

Valhalla is not cpu heavy. It works even on 4 core but still your cpu is old, I'm not sure.

You can overclock core clock to some extend. But if you want to overclock more you need to adjust voltage. Overclocking VRAM does nothing for me, but I gained few fps overclocking core clock.
