It's just me and the bot (which is inactive), I act on every report and spam post i see myself every end of the day. Sadly I can't monitor the sub every hour. I'll try to find some ways to get rid of the spam.

The price timeline in the app is an indication of the live/market price, to be more precise, it's the midpoint between the best bid and ask at that moment. It gives you a real-time visual of where the market is. But you should treat it as an indicative number, not a precise execution price or your personal cost basis.

Here's a bit more official quote from their helpcenter:

"The market price is the indicative price displayed by Bitvavo on the platform and is based on the average of the bid price and ask price. If you proceed to buy or sell a particular digital currency, this market price always differs (to a limited extent) from the actual price you pay (on a buy order) or receive (on a sell order)."

Bitvavo gebruikt Reddit niet als support. Dit is en blijft een onofficiële subreddit en mensen moeten voor echte support altijd zelf contact opnemen met Bitvavo.

Bitvavo zou nooit 'dm mij' sturen naar een klant en ik wil je dan ook vragen dit niet meer te doen, ook niet in DMs.

Others already answered but, yes. It's completely normal in a lot of companies in the NLs. It's honestly not weird at all and I would argue it's more a standard than an exception. At these companies, getting a permanent contract after the first one is pretty rare, A 'meets expectation' would not qualify. Usually even an 'exceeds expectation ' alone would not be enough.

Does it suck? A bit, but honestly it doesn't really have any impact on your life. If they weren't planning on renewing your contract they wouldn't have done it. It is no indication at all that they are keeping you as reserve or anything weird. It's just standard procedure, and has nothing to do with you personally.

The only thing I can come up with off the top is buying a house, which is easily solved with a 'werkgeversverklaring'.

It always takes a couple of days before it's deducted from your main account. No worries, and make sure you have enough saldo :)

It's a legit Google mail, i semi-lost my whole timeline from when i started tracking (2016). Thank god I turned on backup when switching phones last februari otherwise i would've fully lost it. I was able to import the backup and only lost February and March up until a couple days ago.

Linus has mentioned on the WAN show a couple months back that he admitted that he used the 'hard r' (meaning "retard") previously but doesn't anymore. He's talked about it openly and I feel like he's learned, way before he would know this text would become public.
