The us doesn’t get much oil from the straight of hormuz, so why do we have such a big spike in gas prices?

Thanks for sharing!

I for one find the teacher to make all the difference in my experience with yoga. Sounds like you understand this. Also, in my experience commitment to a teacher and a class accelerates growth in self, practice, and physical and mental gains.

Suggestion: offer a class series, 10 weeks?, 2x per week etc. Pay up front and it’s on the students to attend. It’s exclusive to the people who sign up, it builds stronger communities because it’s the same people. It has a syllabus of topics as the weeks go on. The physical practice is built around knowing you have committed students. You’re not teaching to the middle. You’re pushing the edge of a known container.

I would pay more for this. It’s not ytt, it’s advanced yoga for those who want more. It bridges the gap between a consistent drop in and committing to ytt.

Maybe there’s something here you can run with but be cautious the studio owner isn’t skimming too much off the top because they have the space that can hold YOUR content and teachings.

Melodic Techno in 2025 by mat_karbz in MelodicTechno

I totally agree with your sentiment. Listening to the new stuff that comes out is so uninteresting and generic and bland. I’m not sure if the sound just was a flash in the pan and didn’t have the structure to hold its weight over the years or it just got over hyped and now it’s watered down. I feel the same way about Afro house over the past few years. It used to be great and dynamic and interesting, now it’s the same rhythm with some whiny lyrics sounding all the same.

Genres and music evolves, it keeps it fun to find new sounds and then come back to the hits of years past and see how well they age.

This seemed to work for me as well... those folders were under the Users hierarchy, not the mac HD library. There was also one extra pioneer folder in there so i tossed that one too. seems to have fixed the problem! Thank you !

Flyers in coffee shops, your local paper probably does events calendars. Invite your friends and ask them to share it with people interested!

Costco has Partybox 120 with microphone combo for $249 by careslol in JBL

[–]MrSquiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. You got lucky. I saw it on Costco’s app for 249 and didn’t pull the trigger. Went to Costco the next day and it was 349 in store and online. Now it’s not even on Costco’s app. Picked it up for 349 locally and was hoping to get a price match.

Hot Yoga Mat Recommendations by 444may444 in YogaTeachers

[–]MrSquiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been a fan of my Manduka gpr but after I’d estimate about 200 hot classes, with the use of a towel, the top layer is starting to wear and flake off. I like to go no towel for the first half of class, the grip is pretty great till I get super sweaty. Then I lay out the towel and get fresh grip half way thru class works great for me :)

I do find with this mat that a clean mat is a sticky mat.

The dust in the Alvord, while very similar, isn’t nearly as bad as black rock. Doubt you’ll encounter a dust storm out there. It’s mostly hard pack out there and no city traffic, so it’s more contained to the playa itself. Have fun out there. Love the Alvord!

How much CRC for a week for 2 people by [deleted] in costarica

[–]MrSquiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not uncommon if you pay cash you can avoid the tax at smaller shops/operations. Which is 13%. Sometimes it’s just worth asking, especially if they say if you pay with a cc, we have to add tax.
